3 launch Extended Handset Warranty
A longtime gripe of mobile subscribers is that generally you enter into a 24 month contract with a new phone, the handset itself however only comes with a 12 month manufacturers warranty.
Unfortunatly users will also find out the hard way that their handset came out of warranty a week before they experiance an issue thus costs will be incurred to have the handset repaired.
To combat this, 3mobile Australia have just launched 3 Extended Warranties.
Costing $49.95 as a single once off payment (per handset) you can be covered for warranty repairs to your handset for an additional 12 months above your handsets manufacturer warranty.
The $49.95 will even be charged to your next bill so there is no upfront cost involved.
Manufacturers warranty generally covers defective parts such as speakers, mic’s and software corruption.
Warranty will NEVER cover physical damage such as cracked screens or any form of liquid damage, nor will it cover lost or stolen handsets or the accessories provided with the handset such as chargers or handsfree.
