How to: Add Facebook status to a Nokia 5800 Contacts bar Homescreen Contact

As previously mentioned my favourite Nokia 5800 XpressMusic Homescreen Theme is the Contacts Bar theme.
This theme allows you to specify four contacts for permanent display on your homescreen. These contacts can have an image avatar and when selected will display your contact history such as calls and messages.
You can even subscribe to a feed for each contact such as their twitter or even facebook status.
Unfortunatly the process for subscribing to facebooks status updates is a little complex.
I have tried to simplify the process as much as possible.
Step 1. Locate your facebook friends Status Feed.
First on your computer you need to log into facebook and visit the profile of the friend you want to subscribe too.
Within the URL of the profile page you will see a 10 digit number towards the end. (&id=XXXXXXXXXX). Make note of this ID number.
On your Nokia 5800 open the web browser and log into facebook. Once logged in scroll to the bottom of the page and click the “Full Site” button. You may need to log in again, then:
Press Options and select,
Go to, then New Web page.
Now type in:
http : //www.facebook.com/minifeed.php?filter=11&id=XXXXXXXXXX
Obviously replacing XXXXXXXXXX with your friends facebook profile ID number.
Once the page has loaded you should see a screen that only contains your contacts status updates.
Now press Options and select the “Subscribe to web feeds” button. Feel free to rename the feed to your friends name for easy identification.
Step 2. Link the web feed to a contact.
Back on the homescreen, select the contact you wish to link to a feed.
Press the three lines icon to edit the contact.
Select “Edit Web Feeds”,
Press the “Select feed from a list” option,
Select your friends feed from the list.
Press Done.
Your contacts facebook status will now appear at the bottom of their contact profile.
In order to make the feeds update automaticlly you will need to change the Web Feed settings.
Open the web browser, go to:
Options -> Settings-> Web Feeds.
Here you can specify how often the phone automatically updates your feeds, as well as which access point to use.

Comments
Just wondering, but now with the whole Facebook Usernames thing, the friend profile ID does not show up when on their page, I have tried fiddling around with your link but I have no idea how to evolve the username into the link for the friend profile ID number.
Any ideas?
Jack.
