How to: Perform Master Reset on Samsung Omnia


In many cases, a ‘MASTER RESET’ can fix apparent faults experienced with PDA handsets. A Master Reset will restore the device back to the factory default settings and will allow for an accurate fault assessment to be done.

Samsung Omnia Master Reset Procedure

  1. Press the Reset hidden button and hold.
  2. Press and hold the Answer & Hang Up buttons together
  3. Release the Reset Button and keep holding down the Answer & Hang Up keys.
  4. When prompted, press the Format option.

  2. Hi, I have tried to do this and itb does erase the contents of the phone but not the optus start up. Im with 3 and cannot access the internet because it automatically comes up with the optusn page. Please help.
