I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM, I THINK IT IS VERY UNFAIR THAT NOKIA COMPANY DOESN'T GIVE US A SOLUTION TO OUR PROBLEM IN THIS FORUM OR IN NOKIA FORUM WEBSITE.

I HAVE TRIED WITH ALL COMMON PASSWORDS AND NOTHING.

IS THIS LEGAL THAT THEY LOCK YOUR PHONE WHEN YOU UPDATE THE SOFTWARE???

THIS IS NOT LEGAL IN MY COUNTRY.

The new firmware 200.21.118 still hasn't done anything about the pathetic reception problems that persist with the E71. Maybe just bad design flaw.

I already upgraded my E71. And until now I cannot use the phone anymore. The phone keep asking the lock code on the main screen. after entered the code: 123456 (default), it's still asking for the lock code. So far, no solution for that problem. Now I'm using iphone...no more nokia.
