How to: configure your email on Nokia N95 or other S60 device
Posted on April 28th, 2008 | by decoder |There are a couple of different ways to access your emails from an S60 device such as the Nokia N95.
- You can use the built in Email Application
- Use an Email Application provided by your email provider such as Gmail for Mobile
As an avid Gmail & Google Apps fan my perference is to use the Mail by Google application to access a native Gmail interface however the downfall fo this approach is the need to constantly open the application to check for new mail.
For those of you who want a more automated method you may want to use the built in Email Application.

I cannot get to retrieve e-mail on my N95 from my sky.com e-mail account using IMAP or POP3. It keeps asking to save the e-mail mane and password over and over. Very frustrating and just cannot get connected can you help?

Hi Steve,
That is an odd one.
The only thing that I can think of is that you are not using the correct username:
i.e
Your username may need to use your entire email address such as your.name@sky.com instead of just your.name
An alternative could be to try configuring Nokia’s new Push email service.

This may help you out.
Let me know how you go.
