How To: Configure a new Access Point on your Nokia N95
In order to access the internet or content provided by your mobile carrier you need to have a Mobile Internet Access Point configured on your handset. This access point is specific to your carrier.
For the purposes of this article I am using 3mobile Australia with a Nokia N95, however the instructions provided are suitable for any Nokia S60v3 device and are similar to the configuration procedures for S40 handsets such as Nokia 6288.
Please also note that the configuration settings provided are specific to the 3mobile Australia MMS configuration. You will need to substitute the values provided below to suit your specific carrier.
- Press the “menu” button and navigate to the “Tools” menu item.
- Select the “Settings” icon and navigate to the “Connection” menu item
- Navigate to and select the ‘Access Points” menu item. You will now be presented with the currently configured access points.
- Press the “Left Soft Key” marked “Options” and navigate to “New access Point”.
- Enter the following MMS configuration details:Connection name: 3 MMS
Data bearer: Packet data

Prompt password: No
Password: leave this blank

Homepage: http://mmsc.three.net.au:10021/mmsc - Now hit the “Right Soft Key” marked “Back”.
